Public Consultation Event – Tuesday 15th November – Gaydon Village Hall

CEG is holding a public consultation event at Gaydon Village Hall, Church Road, CV35 0ET between 2pm and 8pm on 15th November 2022, in order to share early proposals for an employment development at land south of Junction 12 of the M40.

CEG is preparing a hybrid planning application for submission later this year for this 29.5-hectare site which lies between the M40, Pimple Lane and the B4100 (Banbury Road) and southeast of Jaguar Land Rover’s (JLR) design and engineering centre and Aston Martin Lagonda’s (AML) headquarters.

The proposals seek to respond to the significant need for new employment floorspace within the district
and wider region. The forthcoming planning application would seek permission for a range of uses
including, manufacturing, storage and distribution, research and development, and industrial
processes. The proposed units will provide workspace from 34,000 sq. m down to smaller flexible
commercial units of between 1,500 sq. m and 1,900 sq. m.

Residents are invited to attend the consultation event which will provide more information about the proposals and will provide you with an opportunity to ask questions and provide comments prior to the submission of the planning application.
If you are unable to make the event and still wish to understand more and participate in the consultation,
all of the exhibition materials will be available on the website   from the 15th November 2022. CEG will also provide updates and seek to answer queries raised during the consultation on the above website.

The Parish Council has been invited to submit comments  on what matters should be included in an Environmental Impact Assessment to accompany the planning application that will be subsequently submitted by the applicant.  For example this may include, but not limited to, impacts on the following:
